|Frequently Asked Questions|
What do I need to do to start storing?
A: Moving in is as easy as A, B, C! We need one form of ID (passport, driving licence, recent utility bill etc.) Payment for the first four weeks and your bank details or credit/debit card for set-up of ongoing payment. The contract is quick to set up. We will ask you a few questions, take your photograph and run through the Terms and Conditions with you. This only takes about 15mins. We even provide a cup of coffee!
A: Our minimum storage term is 7 days. There is no limit to the length of your stay.
A: If you are staying for 1 or 2 months you may pay weekly, otherwise payments are made every four weeks (28 days). These can be either set up on Direct Debit or we can hold your Credit/Debit Card details for automatic payment.
A: All our storage is internal (unless you want to store a lorry!) We have individual units of various sizes. These each have their own door and are measured in square feet. All units have an eight foot ceiling height.
A: The size of unit you require is calculated on the type and quantity of items you need to store. E.g. All contents of a 3 bed roomed house or 20 boxes. Why not take a look at our size estimator?
A: The cost of the unit will depend on the amount of space you require and the length of time you need to store for. Why not call us now for a quotation or use our "Get a Quote" form?
A: Payment can be made by Credit Card (including American Express) Debit card or Direct Debit.
A: Our security is "2nd to none" - We have a secure perimeter to our facility accessible only by a secure pin code. This means that no-one is allowed on site without an authorised code. We have 24 hour digital CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms - these are set up to a 24 hour monitoring service.
A: We have 24 hour access for people storing. Our Office Hours are Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 12 noon.
A: We have trolleys, sack barrow, pallet truck and a lift, all for customer use. (We wouldn't expect you to carry your fridge up the stairs!)
A: You can access your storage unit whenever you need to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There is NO extra charge for access (even if it is 3am)
A: We have done all that we can to ensure that our facility is clean, dry and secure, however, as members of the SSA (Self Storage Association) we have a duty to act under their guidelines and one of these areas is that all goods in storage need to be insured. This insurance makes sure that your valuable items are protected against things even out of our control - mainly extreme weather and fire! You may provide your own insurance - we would just need to see your certificate or you may be added to our policy. Please call the office and we will be happy to quote for you.
A: Yes! Everything from tape and boxes to house moving kits and tool kits! Why not take a look at our BoxShop page?
