Exemplary customer service helps home refurbishment project
A large two-storey extension project required Stephen Hembling and his family to move out of their home in a Suffolk village whilst work was carried out – and find somewhere suitable to store all their furniture and possessions.
Stephen had already used HomeStore to house items for his business which has proved very convenient, particularly as a forklift truck is available to move pallets as and when required.
When it came to finding somewhere for their own domestic items, they were confident that the facilities would be ideal for their needs.
Stephen says: “As a family we needed more space but didn’t want to move out of our current house as the children are happy at the local school, we have wonderful neighbours and quite simply, we love where we live. We decided to do a ‘wraparound’ extension to add extra bedrooms and bathrooms as well as living space which necessitated us moving out of the property whilst work was being carried out.
“Having already become a business customer with HomeStore, I then asked about arrangements for domestic storage and was delighted to discover that the terms were extremely flexible – a minimum of one week.
“The facilities are also so well maintained and we felt happy that our items would be kept in pristine condition there, as well as having easy access should we need to go and retrieve something. Their ample on-site parking has also been very useful and the security is second to none with double barrier gates and CCTV.
“I can’t speak too highly about the service we have received. The HomeStore team really does go the extra mile and I think many companies could learn a lot from their high standards of customer service – they are excellent.”
