Short-term hire is perfect solution for new kitchen project

Scheduling the installation of a brand new kitchen, including some building work at their Felixstowe home, meant that Sophie Adams and her husband needed somewhere to store the units and appliances for a few weeks.

They had driven past HomeStore in Ipswich several times but hadn’t considered it as a solution to their kitchen storage problem.

Sophie says: “We were concerned about housing our lovely new kitchen in a space where messy building work was still going on.

“I telephoned to ask about the minimum length of a contract and was surprised and delighted to hear that it is one week! This meant that we could hire a unit to store our new kitchen in a clean and safe environment until all the building work, including plastering, had been completed.

“We met with Sarah at Ipswich who showed us around and we were really impressed with the facilities, the security and the service. We particularly liked the fact that we had 24-hour access to our unit, using the individual pin-code entry system, so we could come and take items as and when required. On-site parking was also very useful.

“In total we hired the unit for three weeks which was a perfect solution and very reasonable in terms of cost. Not only did it mean that our kitchen was stored securely and in a clean environment, it also didn’t clutter up our space at home.”
