Q. How do I start storing and when can I move in?
A. Come along to one of our branches and you can start straightaway! It will take around 15 minutes to show you around and set you up. All you need to do is bring one form of photo ID (passport, driving licence or identity card) together with payment for the first rental period and your bank details for ongoing payments.

Q. How long can I store?
A. Seven days is the shortest term and after that it’s unlimited.

Q. What type of storage do you offer and what are the sizes of the units?
A. All our storage is internal and arranged in storage rooms/units of varying sizes (measured in square feet), each with its own door.

Q. How much does it cost and how do I pay?
A. The cost of the unit will depend on the amount of space you require and the length of time you need. Initial payment can be made by cash or card including American Express. Ongoing payment is by Direct Debit, taken every four weeks (28 days).

Q. What can/can’t I store?
A. You can store most household items, furniture, business stock, palletised and bulk goods – to name a few.

Not permitted are open packets of food and perishable goods, birds, fish, animals or any other living creature; lithium batteries, combustible or flammable materials such as gas, paint, petrol, oil or cleaning solvent; compressed gases, explosives, lithium batteries, firearms, weapons or ammunition; chemical, radioactive materials, biological agent, toxic waste, asbestos; any items emitting smells, odours or fumes; or illegal substances or goods.

Q. When can I access my unit?
A. Only you have access to your unit which is available 365 days a year, 24/7 with NO additional charges. You will need to provide your own padlock. We also sell them in our HomeStore Shop.

Our team in the office is on-site to assist Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am to 12 noon

Q. Do I need insurance and what security do you have?
A. Yes all goods in storage need to be insured which ensures they are protected against things out of our control.
No-one is allowed on site without an authorised code. We have 24-hour digital CCTV, as well as intruder alarms and fire alarms which are linked to a 24-hour monitoring service.

Q. Do you have removals and how do I get my items to my unit?
A. We don’t provide a removal service but we can recommend companies to help. We do have trolleys, sack barrows and a pallet truck and a lift for customer use.

Q. Do you sell packaging material?
A. Yes we sell a range of different packing materials. Please see our HomeStore Shop page or come in during office hours and take a look.

Q. Can you accept deliveries for me?
A. Yes, we can receive deliveries for existing customers by prior arrangement.
